From Hever Castle to Windsor Castle

In chapter thirteen,  Anne meets Margaret or Margery as her family and friends called her. Margery was like a sister to Anne and in some ways another mother figure. Margery was ten years or more older than Anne so I can see how she can act as a mother figure. Margery already had plenty experience being a mother of six children counting the second child that passed away in 1514 at the age of five. By the ages of Margerys brandy bunch family, she was almost having a child every year haha I mean that would help her with tax refunds in today's modern day life, but not back than hahaha sorry I can only handle two if that ha. Margery was also into fashion like Anne and it described Margerys English gown in great details that made me imagine  how beautiful it probably was. On page 189 Margery warns Anne to be careful of the queen because of the powerful connections she has within the court and out. King Henry writes a letter to Anne while she's back home and she does the same in return.

In chapter fourteen she introduced her new years gift from Henry which was her horse name Starlight. Anne gets home and notice they have company and two of them were talking to Annes mother Elizabeth.  The two gentlemen sent from king Henry were Drs. Stephen Gardiner and Edward Foxe. Stephen or as they called him In the court Master Stephen was secretary to Wosley. Master Stephen had knowledge of canon and civil law.
Master Stephen supports the kings annulment and he too does not like the way Queen Katherine has been acting towards Henry. I can relate to the relationship between Stephen and Henry, but will discuss that in our class discussions. The Dr's were sent to Anne to deliver a message from the king. Anne does not know what to really think of the two Dr's, but if you want my thought on it I think there's something shady about the two hmmm... famous last words when Anne said on page 202, " I sensed that I could trust him (Dr. Foxe)" haha. As I was reading further I guess he foxe may not be a bad guy after all. Foxe tells Anne that he will basically do everything in his power to make sure Anne and the king become one. Foxe gives her a book that was called The obedience of a Christian Man, by William Tyndale and Anne described the book gift as more precious than any jewelry that's ahead.

In chapter fifteen Anne and her mother become the guest the guest of honour at Windsor Castle. As the guest of honour Anne wouldn't have to wait on the queen which means that probably made Katherine really upset haha. Anne will no longer be a maid to the queen and she feels like things are moving forward. She gets to sit with him by his side during dinner and basically there's no hiding there love for one another. I was a little confused in this chapter, but it could have been from the lack of sleep :( looking forward to discussing this chapter in class.

Goodbye

I knew that this day would come,

And now I feel so damn dumb,

It's time we let go and put it to an end,

Wish we could say let's be friends;

But honestly I don't think I can,

All I ever wanted was to call you my woman

So many good times we've shared

Sneakin around and not even scared

It kills me that we knew it could never be

The two of us.... You and me

We met just a little to late

I guess that was just our fate

Trying so hard to be strong

I think about you all night long

If only there was a way

To make this hurt go away

No longer can we lie

The time has come to say goodbye...
