I WAS SO HIGH!!

13,000 FT high that is!!! Yes I know I made a fish face, but that's me trying to breathe and not blackout! This is why I was not myself Wednesday night after Easter weekend. This Skydive jump gave me a adrenaline rush for days and I was coming down from it Wednesday night, BUT I did attempt to read while on my trip bringing my book with me, but that didn't work out... I have experienced so many things for the first time in one weekend and made a lifetime full of memories. I went to New Jersey, Skydived in New Jersey, experienced the Jersey life, hopped on a train for the first time, took train into NYC!!! and experienced the NYC life including seeing the Statue of Liberty, Ground Zero, Empire State Building and of course Time Square. I can check a couple things off my bucket list now ;)

Coming to an end... I think not ;)

I'm sitting outside on this nice beautiful warm night under the stars as I am blogging at this moment. It feels GREAT! I decided to write my "last" blog now because I am thinking about it along with my last essay on my mind. It's been a hell of a ride for me the past couple weeks and I would love to share more after I finish my paper lol. First I would like to say that this will not be my last blog. I know that the semester is coming to a end and I will no longer have to blog for English 1010-s11, but I am still going to continue to keep blogging just because I feel more comfortable sharing my thoughts on here like a journal.

The experience I had in my English course this semester will always be with me throughout the rest of my college years and beyond. We had class discussions through out the semester that helped me in so many ways. I became comfortable speaking in front of people because of the discussions we've had. I can honestly say their was never a dull moment in class. The group participations like our peer review was great! It helps us interact with our fellow classmates and to see what others have learned and how they write.

Ms. Hanson

You said your class wouldn't be just some boring long lectures all night and you kept your word haha. If I had to suggest something to improve future classes, that would be to add desktop computers in the room only because people may not have a laptop, ipad, iPhone, android ect... Oh and you don't have to worry about library availability ;) lol but Other than that nothing else. I liked the fact that everything we discussed in class also gets put on D2L for us to go over. I also liked how you communicate with us whether we're in class or out.

I have to say this, the Wednesday after Easter weekend I was not really all there as a few people have noticed. My quiz score that night was also evidence of that LOL :(. That night we played or I should say attempted to play Hollywood squares haha and that made me crack a few smile here and there. I am just saying that you Ms.Hanson made this class experience unforgettable and made me feel a little better through your teaching and for that I would like to say Thank You from the bottom of my heart :) Dont cry lol

I'm truly going to miss the group we had in our Wednesday night class and I'll ALWAYS remember my first encounter with you Ms. Hanson LOL :)

June 21, 2007 - August 10, 2007

So between the dates of June 21, 2007 - August 10, 2007; Anne is regaining consciousness but is feeling very shocked at what she sees or hears when she is back to reality. I can understand why she said the people caring for her seemed alien to her because she's  be out cold in another realm that felt surreal and now she's trying to figure out what the heck is going on. Anne is back to modern day life and is put on a stretcher into a ambulance. As Anne is being taken through the hever castle on her stretcher, she remembers everything and everyone that she has grown to love and hate and the thought of not ever seeing them again brings her to tears. Nobody in the modern day life knows what Anne had just experienced so when she tears up the medics think she is just afraid of herself but in actuality she is missing the people that have become her world. Mr. Harris a neurosurgeon has told Anne that she had cerebral aneurysm and that it had ruptured bleeding into her brain. The emergency operation was successful but he did tell Anne that he spotted another aneurysm same size but deeper in the brain and that she can possibly die from it.
Anne has a friend named kate that picks her up at the hospital. They have known each other for over ten years and they are what we call bff's in today's society. Anne sees Daniel shed a tear while he strokes her eyebrows and for a few seconds it reminded her of King Henry doing that to her but also was rare to see Daniel show those types of emotions. After Anne arrived at home she goes straight to the book shelf and I'm thinking she does this because she's trying to go back to the 16th century. Modern day Anne finds a book that caught her eye and it was a biography about Annes life where she thinks that could possibly have answers to her many questions since she resurfaced to reality.  As she is reading about the characters in the book she picked up, she is feeling something different that a lot of us don't really feel when we read a biography.  She feels a deeper connection while reading the biography because on page 307 it describes how she reads about the people who played a part in Annes life, but as she said, it's not just names recorded on paper anymore. Daniel picks up Anne for her birthday surprise and takes her for a picnic where she and Henry once had there moment at Ankerwycke yew as well. Modern day Anne let's it all out to Daniel on page 324 basically saying Daniel is kidding himself when he said he's made a choice about leaving his current wife. I did get goosebumps on page 325 when Daniel said he sees Anne Boleyn in her and that she has her spirit lol. It's becoming real and I can't imagine how two people can be so alike yet they are centuries apart. Daniel takes modern day Anne back to the castle and as I am reading I notice that now she understands the portraits clearly now because she lived it.
Anne became the "undisputed mistress of perseverance".Daniel daughter got sick from meningitis and when she recovered Daniel shut Anne out cold again.

Windsor Castle to Palace of Placentia, Greenwich

In chapters sixteen through eighteen, Anne talks about Thomas Heneage; that he was a kind and courteous man and that he was soft spoken and generous in spirit. Anne offers Master Heneage to join her for supper only to get closer to his master haha. On page 236 last paragraph you'll notice how sneaky Anne has become haha.
Anne is getting worried that she has not heard from the king, but Margery was there to reassure her that Anne will hear back from the king without a doubt.  Annes mind is going all directions wondering if she had done something wrong because she has yet to hear from Henry. Her brother George came to her door and told her he was sent from the king and basically reassuring her as well that the king would never forget about her. On page 244 she describes how she almost forgot how the modern day Anne looked like.
Anne also starts worrying if the king will possibly fall back in love with Katherine because she and the king will be together while Henry is jousting.  Anne starts accusing Henry of not caring enough about her and feeling used now. Nan has a copy of the obedience of a Christian man the same book Anne has. Anne describes the book to nan and how it is a book everyone should read and that the text shouldn't be taken lightly.  Anne and her father thinks the book will help the kings "great matter". Nan also confess that she stole the copy of the book. Oohhh scandalous haha

I'm B3AT....

The past week or two have been overwhelming. I was moving to my new place which took most of my time. My lil niece was sick and I had a lot to catch up on with classes, but I think I'm back on track. It's going to be a busy month...

From Hever Castle to Windsor Castle

In chapter thirteen,  Anne meets Margaret or Margery as her family and friends called her. Margery was like a sister to Anne and in some ways another mother figure. Margery was ten years or more older than Anne so I can see how she can act as a mother figure. Margery already had plenty experience being a mother of six children counting the second child that passed away in 1514 at the age of five. By the ages of Margerys brandy bunch family, she was almost having a child every year haha I mean that would help her with tax refunds in today's modern day life, but not back than hahaha sorry I can only handle two if that ha. Margery was also into fashion like Anne and it described Margerys English gown in great details that made me imagine  how beautiful it probably was. On page 189 Margery warns Anne to be careful of the queen because of the powerful connections she has within the court and out. King Henry writes a letter to Anne while she's back home and she does the same in return.

In chapter fourteen she introduced her new years gift from Henry which was her horse name Starlight. Anne gets home and notice they have company and two of them were talking to Annes mother Elizabeth.  The two gentlemen sent from king Henry were Drs. Stephen Gardiner and Edward Foxe. Stephen or as they called him In the court Master Stephen was secretary to Wosley. Master Stephen had knowledge of canon and civil law.
Master Stephen supports the kings annulment and he too does not like the way Queen Katherine has been acting towards Henry. I can relate to the relationship between Stephen and Henry, but will discuss that in our class discussions. The Dr's were sent to Anne to deliver a message from the king. Anne does not know what to really think of the two Dr's, but if you want my thought on it I think there's something shady about the two hmmm... famous last words when Anne said on page 202, " I sensed that I could trust him (Dr. Foxe)" haha. As I was reading further I guess he foxe may not be a bad guy after all. Foxe tells Anne that he will basically do everything in his power to make sure Anne and the king become one. Foxe gives her a book that was called The obedience of a Christian Man, by William Tyndale and Anne described the book gift as more precious than any jewelry that's ahead.

In chapter fifteen Anne and her mother become the guest the guest of honour at Windsor Castle. As the guest of honour Anne wouldn't have to wait on the queen which means that probably made Katherine really upset haha. Anne will no longer be a maid to the queen and she feels like things are moving forward. She gets to sit with him by his side during dinner and basically there's no hiding there love for one another. I was a little confused in this chapter, but it could have been from the lack of sleep :( looking forward to discussing this chapter in class.

Goodbye

I knew that this day would come,

And now I feel so damn dumb,

It's time we let go and put it to an end,

Wish we could say let's be friends;

But honestly I don't think I can,

All I ever wanted was to call you my woman

So many good times we've shared

Sneakin around and not even scared

It kills me that we knew it could never be

The two of us.... You and me

We met just a little to late

I guess that was just our fate

Trying so hard to be strong

I think about you all night long

If only there was a way

To make this hurt go away

No longer can we lie

The time has come to say goodbye...

From Arlington Castle to The Palace of Beaulieu

In chapter five you learned that Annes brother George shared a great deal of bond with her and throughout the chapters you can tell that he is by her side. Anne meets master thomas wyatt and he writes a verse about her that I had to read 3 times to really understand what he was trying to say. That is a foreign language that will give you a migraine, but I guess that's what people would say about me speaking Laotion. Thomas wyatt says in the verse "in a net I seek to hold the wind." And from what I got out of that was Thomas saying Anne is the wind and he is the net and that Anne just seems to find her way pass him or through him and he's trying to get a hold of her but seems impossible. Thomas describes how Anne use to "fancy" him when they were younger and that she even asked him to marry her but he was out chasing other women at the time and didn't want to be lock down to one woman at that time. Wyatt was just a squirrel trying to get a nut at that age I mean who wasn't? He did the right thing by exploring what the world has to offer and now that they're older, he realized he always loved her and he says he "regrets chasing other quarry" but I know that's a lie haha. Anne also had an effect on Thomas and his wife. His wife hated him and their sex life was at little to none because of the fact that she and he both knew that their was no passion  between the two of them anymore. Does anyone else thinks this story is starting to sound like that movie "Something about Mary"? Hahaha

In Chapter Six her brother George delivers her a letter from the king it and basically he's reassuring Anne that his love is real and that he hopes to see her soon. George also told Anne that he heard Katherine call Anne a whore and in today's world we call a person talking smack about another is a hater! After hearing what she's been called by the queen, she is ready to throw down with the queen. She has no doubt that the queen is going to try and stop the king from being with Anne.

In chapter seven she comes across a book of hours that belonged to her mother. The book of hours was give to her mother by her husband and Anne said she can relate to the book so much that her mother decided to give it to her as a reminder of God and her love for her (anne). Anne is also to be chaperone by her mother, brother or her father to protect Annes reputation.  She talks about her independent being taken away and how the modern day anne would not take some controlling her life. I'm also very independent and when I think someone is trying to take that from me I get into a defensive mode. Anne was asked to serve the queen as usual and she was furious haha I mean who would want to serve your worst enemy as they stand in your face with a smirk knowing they have control over you? Henry got these girls cat fighting for his love... Henry showered her with a gold necklace amongst other valuable gifts and started thinking she was being bought which I think so... her uncle comes into the picture and ask her straight up if she has slept with the king and I balled out laughing cause its something I would of asked too lol

In chapter eight she is worried about the consequences that will come for standing up to her uncle for his rude question/assumption. This chapter also introduced her dear friend Anne gainsford who was described as a friend who would be with her til the very end. Rumours spread like wild fire and that's what happened in this chapter with the secret between Henry and Anne. It's no surprise now that Anne and Henry have a thing and now Katherine the queen knows as well. Things are getting heated and I'm looking forward to how he will handle these two ladies under the same roof...
