In last weeks class we discuss the topic about tattoos. I am all for it as long as it has a story behind it and it means something to you. I have one at the moment and soon to get more in the near future. The one I have currently is written in Japanese and means Defend. At the time I got this, I was going through emotional stress with relationship and family. I chose the word defend to remind me to always defend the ones that matter dearest to me like my loved ones including my friends and especially myself!

More writing Yaaaaay :(
So I am writing a 4-6 page illustration essay and I think it went pretty well in my eyes, but I know its not perfect. I tried to refer back to the St. Martins Textbook and it did help guide me along the way. I did catch a cold during this assignment so majority of the time I was writing under the influence of NyQuil. Am I making excuses for my horrible paper? No. I feel like S*** and just want to sleep, but I am dedicated to finishing my assignments and I know I can sleep when I die so as of now I got work to do! It was pretty difficult to write this paper and so I hope during our review session in class, I get to see where my weakness's are and what needs to be corrected.

Great pictures Master P!!!!! I too found it very difficult and also looking forward to feedback. It will definetely help me.
ReplyDeleteI think we are all looking forward to learning what we are doing wrong and how we can make it better. Next, I think you and Kion need to stay away from each other getting sick and all. Finally I like your tatt and the meaning behind it, very interested in know what your next one will be
ReplyDeleteLol, you three crack me up hanging out on here and in class. Thank you for always interacting and following directions about all assignments. This is definitely a bright/ enthusiastic group.
ReplyDeleteAs I posted on a few other students' blogs... "I hate that everything is so crammed due to the "snow day" 2/14/14'. My goal was to get your first essay's final draft graded and given back to you to use along with editing your RD of essay #2 to see what your weaknesses/ strengths were and give feedback. Urgh...nothing works according to plan it seems. My Thursday night class' research was interrupted after their presentations due to the tornado warnings, as well [this week]. Mother Nature is cursing my classes. :/" Hopefully, we can get back on track together, soon.
As far as your actual post, Pierro...thank you for sharing. I also like your information about your tattoo. I am always fascinated by tattoos in other languages and that are symbolic.
Speaking of other languages..there is a "widget" on the template that you all should try. Often it gets more traffic to your blogs. It is a translator...so others from different that speak different languages can read your blogs. Simple add! Hope everyone is feeling better and we can move full steam ahead.
