From Arlington Castle to The Palace of Beaulieu

In chapter five you learned that Annes brother George shared a great deal of bond with her and throughout the chapters you can tell that he is by her side. Anne meets master thomas wyatt and he writes a verse about her that I had to read 3 times to really understand what he was trying to say. That is a foreign language that will give you a migraine, but I guess that's what people would say about me speaking Laotion. Thomas wyatt says in the verse "in a net I seek to hold the wind." And from what I got out of that was Thomas saying Anne is the wind and he is the net and that Anne just seems to find her way pass him or through him and he's trying to get a hold of her but seems impossible. Thomas describes how Anne use to "fancy" him when they were younger and that she even asked him to marry her but he was out chasing other women at the time and didn't want to be lock down to one woman at that time. Wyatt was just a squirrel trying to get a nut at that age I mean who wasn't? He did the right thing by exploring what the world has to offer and now that they're older, he realized he always loved her and he says he "regrets chasing other quarry" but I know that's a lie haha. Anne also had an effect on Thomas and his wife. His wife hated him and their sex life was at little to none because of the fact that she and he both knew that their was no passion  between the two of them anymore. Does anyone else thinks this story is starting to sound like that movie "Something about Mary"? Hahaha

In Chapter Six her brother George delivers her a letter from the king it and basically he's reassuring Anne that his love is real and that he hopes to see her soon. George also told Anne that he heard Katherine call Anne a whore and in today's world we call a person talking smack about another is a hater! After hearing what she's been called by the queen, she is ready to throw down with the queen. She has no doubt that the queen is going to try and stop the king from being with Anne.

In chapter seven she comes across a book of hours that belonged to her mother. The book of hours was give to her mother by her husband and Anne said she can relate to the book so much that her mother decided to give it to her as a reminder of God and her love for her (anne). Anne is also to be chaperone by her mother, brother or her father to protect Annes reputation.  She talks about her independent being taken away and how the modern day anne would not take some controlling her life. I'm also very independent and when I think someone is trying to take that from me I get into a defensive mode. Anne was asked to serve the queen as usual and she was furious haha I mean who would want to serve your worst enemy as they stand in your face with a smirk knowing they have control over you? Henry got these girls cat fighting for his love... Henry showered her with a gold necklace amongst other valuable gifts and started thinking she was being bought which I think so... her uncle comes into the picture and ask her straight up if she has slept with the king and I balled out laughing cause its something I would of asked too lol

In chapter eight she is worried about the consequences that will come for standing up to her uncle for his rude question/assumption. This chapter also introduced her dear friend Anne gainsford who was described as a friend who would be with her til the very end. Rumours spread like wild fire and that's what happened in this chapter with the secret between Henry and Anne. It's no surprise now that Anne and Henry have a thing and now Katherine the queen knows as well. Things are getting heated and I'm looking forward to how he will handle these two ladies under the same roof...

Le Temps Viendra Vol. I

So I just finished reading the first chapter of part 1 and four chapters of part two. This novel is starting to get hot LOL!

In chapter one of part one, It was a good introduction to the story. Sarah talks about having a passion for Anne Boleyn. In her words she was "deeply involved in her character, her wit, her fierce determination and ultimately her betrayal!" And that's pretty much where it grabbed my attention just a little bit haha.  I really like how Sarah describes her husbands drinking problem as demons and as she says " I could not save my husband from his own demons" and even though they divorced she had no real anger towards her husband and was just ready to rebuild her life.

In chapter one of part two, this is where she started to become Anne Boleyn. This chapter described that as she woke up from passing out she does wake up in a different time and she doesn't really freak out from what I can tell because She has so much passion for Anne that she realized she was just like her. So as she was addressed to as Anne, it just really came natural as if she was her. As I am reading through this chapter, it is clear that Anne had a thing for Henry The King of England and he had feelings for her as well.

In chapter two, of part two King Henry is professing his love for Anne. This king Henry guy has "game" as we say in today's society, meaning he knows how to talk to the ladies to get what he wants haha. On page 33 it describes Henry as a man with power and charisma and won't stop at nothing to have his way. In this chapter, Henry also tells Anne why he can no longer be with Katherine and it was because it was his brothers wife and felt "unclean and invalid in the eye of God" and that's why he can not stay married to Katherine. Somehow he thinks Anne would be the one to give him a son and on page 35 he tells her that he loves her and wants her to be his queen. I notice the player aka cheater in him when he asked Anne to keep their relationship a secret from everyone especially Katherine his wife. I was thinking at this point this novel is getting juicy hahaha. As a male myself, I've been in Henrys same shoes telling one woman to keep our relationship hidden and that didn't really turn out good so I can only imagine what's going to happen further into this book, but whatever it is I'm game to find out!

In chapter three of part two, a lot happened in this chapter. It describes the gown that Anne wore and how much effort it took to put the "rich attire" on and from reading the details her maids had to do to get Anne dressed, I'm sure her attire added 10 if not 15 lbs haha. This chapter also gives another example of what a smooth talker king Henry is when he speaks to Anne. He says to Anne on page 42, " and you shall ride by my side, sweet heart.  I may be hunting a buck this day, but you, I do not want out of my sight". When I read that, I was like wow If I was a female I would've fallen for that line too LOL. Anne also tells her father about her and Henrys secret about their relationship even though the king told her not to. In this chapter, you find out that Anne was Katherines (Henrys wife) maid of honour and both know each other, now that is disloyal. In other words Anne was two face and shady keeping it from Katherine,  but I'm not knocking her on it, who's perfect anyways? I'm not. Annes mother Elizabeth Boleyn pops into the story at this point and come to find out that they have a close relationship and also let's her in on the secret. Page 64 last paragraph one word WOW!! I can relate to King Henry LOL.

In chapter four of part two, king Henry has to leave for a "urgent matter" but I honestly think he has another wife beside Katherine and his secret fiance Anne. This chapter also describes how Anne wants to really show Henry how she really feels by writing a letter as well as getting a jewel that will symbolize there love for each other.

I'm not gonna lie, I am curious as to what will happen next so needless to say, this book has grabbed my attention and looking forward to see what else I can learn from King Henry ;) haha
